These events which hit the atmosphere and create all these amazing colors in green, white, blue, red, yellow, pink and purple are called for Polar lights.
They get their colors from various gases in our atmosphere. Oxygen, Nitrogen and Hydrogen are the most common elements for our lights in the sky.
